Our love
was Pangaea –

Our entire
world

so perfectly
conceived

we did not see
faults forming

until foundations
cracked

and all our walls
crumbled.

We sifted rubble looking
for reasons

but could not find
a why

and found hearts separated
by seas

though neither of us said
goodbye.
